Tuition Procedures

Tuition is due by the 1st of each month and is considered delinquent after the 5th of the month and will incur a $10 late fee.
Tuition should be placed in the lock box that is hanging on the wall right outside the hallway by the 2s classroom (Room D) at the end of the hall. Please ask if you are having trouble finding the lockbox -- it is pretty discrete. Last year, some families paid tuition and extended care payments through bill pay with their bank. It worked really well as long as they allowed ample time for the payment to get processed and mailed to school. Also, remember that we pay June tuition in September so your bill pay should stop with the May payment.
In addition, we have an option where you can complete an Electronic Funds Transfer form and we will automatically debit your account each month. Please contact the directors for more information.
If you are paying by check or bill pay please include your child's full name, classroom and month paying on the memo line of your check (example: John Smith, MWF 3s, October 2021).  If you are paying for more than one child please include each child's name and classroom.
If you are paying a late fee from the previous month please indicate that fact somewhere on your check as well.
Tuition is charged monthly based on the 9-1/2 month 4J academic school year even though some months have scheduled vacations. The entire tuition will be charged for each month your child is enrolled, whether or not your child is present.
September's tuition is due by June 1st as a deposit to hold your spot.  The remainder of the months, the tuition will be due by the 5th of the month.
If a child is withdrawn from school, two weeks’ notice must be given to CPS in order to receive a refund or to not be obligated for part of the next month’s tuition. No refunds will be made for June tuition for any child withdrawn after December 31.

Scholarships

CPS has a scholarship program to provide partial tuition for children who would otherwise be unable to attend the school.   Scholarships forms are available on-line and are reviewed by a Scholarship Committee and, if approved, are awarded so long as funds are available.  The cost of the scholarship program is not included in regular tuition and parents may be asked to participate in fundraising projects to support this valuable program.

If you would like to apply for a scholarship please download and complete the Congregational Preschool Scholarship Application and submit it to the director.
